Nature's Illusions' images have an illustrious heritage, coming from esteemed museum collections and research organizations. Currently, Nature's Illusions features 3-D pop-up butterfly, dragonfly and fairy decorative stickers.

All of our butterfly images are original photographs from world-renowned entomologist Bernard d'Abrera, whose published works are taken from the collections held by the British Museum (Natural History), known for having the most comprehensive Natural History collections in the world. Never before has this collection been seen outside of the British Museum and we are very grateful to have access to these exquisite specimens.

We package our butterflies according to the region where they are found. There are five regions represented in the collection, with two packs of different butterflies per region. Each region is denoted with a different color band across the top of the package. We list each species and sex to underscore the scientific value and promote education. Each pack of butterflies includes either eight small stickers or, in the case of the Worldwide Region, two large stickers per pack.

Did you know that dragonflies lose their color almost immediately when they die? Because they move so quickly, they are nearly impossible to photograph, however an organization called The Digital Dragonfly Project has developed a process of scanning the dragonflies while alive, though cooled down, so the true colors show. This is why our dragonfly images are so unique and truly, works of art (and patience).

We feature two packs of dragonflies from North America.

In addition, Nature's Illusions offers a whimsical product line featuring ethereal fairies under the name, Papillon. As with the butterflies and dragonflies, the fairies' wings pop-up to give the appearance of flight. While not found in nature (that we know of), kids especially like these winged creatures to decorate invitations, rooms and scrapbooks.

We feature two packs of Papillon Fairies with eight fairies per pack.
